Sheffield Supertram - Park & Ride
If you are coming from outside Sheffield and want to avoid the busy city traffic why not experience the Sheffield Supertram. If you are coming down the M1 motorway you can park your car for free at Meadowhall and catch the tram into Sheffield. The tram stops just 100 metres from The Megacentre and the journey is far less stressful than driving into the city. For more information on times and prices visit Sheffield Supertram Website. Remember, that you are also being kind to the Environment by using public transport. Trams run about every 10 minutes. Parking at The Megacentre
We have around 50 free parking spaces available on site and a further 30 available on the roadside in between 9:30am and 4:30pm weekdays. If you are coming to be a part of a larger event, we suggest that once our car parking spaces have been used, you can park at the Nunnery Square Park & Ride which is 150 metres from the lower entrance of the Megacentre. It costs just £3.60 per car par day which is excellent value for city parking. Alternatively, consider using the Park & Ride option from Meadowhall above.
Coming by Rail or Coach
The Megacentre is just 3 minutes taxi ride from the main Sheffield Midland Station or from the main Pond Street Bus Terminus. The Megacentre is also on a number of local bus routes. If you are planning to bring coach parties to the centre as part of your event, please let us know so that we can make the necessary roadside preparations for dropping off safely and efficiently. Cycling to The Megacentre
Even in a city with seven hills, people still like to use their bikes to travel to work. If you would prefer to visit us by bike, there is space for you to secure your bike close to the entrance of the centre. The Megacentre is 100 metres from the inner Sheffield section of the Trans Pennine Trail, part of the National Cycle Network. The network is mainly comprised of cycle tracks enabling you to get to your destination without having to navigate your way through traffic.
