About Us

The Megacentre is a good idea of Hope City Church.  We hope to live up to our name and so our customers should expect excellence and first class customer service.

The first Megacentre was established in Sheffield in 1998. The former Spears & Jackson garden tool factory has since been renovated to host an indoor play centre, conference facilities, college and childcare provision.

The Liverpool Megacentre at the Elaine Norris Building has a totally different flavour.  It is affectionately know as the ‘Sporty’ Megacentre with its very own gym, Astroturf football pitches and bowling green.  Established in 2008, the Megacentre has transformed the sports hall into a premier conferencing venue complete with a multi-media suite.  The Liverpool Megacentre has made a difference to its local community and to the city as a whole.

Our newest Megacentre in Leeds has recently opened its state-of-the-art 300 seater auditorium.  The former library service headquarters is quickly becoming the most sought after conferencing venue in the city.

At the heart of the Megacentre is its community ethos. All of its profits are sown in the Megacentre’s charity, Hope City Enterprise. This charity runs rehab facilities, food banks, parenting support groups, large community awards ceremonies, schools work and education classes for the unemployed. By using the facilities at the Megacentre you are not only making a difference to your life but others too.

The Megacentre has attained the Investors in People standard and is committed to sourcing its materials from the local area and using Fairtrade products.

If you would like to know more about the Megacentre or interested in supporting its charitable activities, why not contact us? We would love to hear from you.
